Sensor Types Explained
Choose your sensor element
When designing a PIR sensor it is critical to choose the most appropriate pyro sensor. The type and model of sensor (Pyro) needs to be matched to the optical system so that the desired detection area is achieved and so that sensor is able to generate enough signal for detection to be successful.
Sensor Types Explained
We have a long history designing and manufacturing high performance lenses for PIR applications. We will carefully analyse your requirements and make a proposal how best to proceed with your project. Our engineers will consult with you and make a proposal concerning costs and development time.

Typical pyro sensor types
A variety of pyro sensors are available from several manufacturers. Carclo has lenses to support most common sensors.
